Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Duty Manager for the Almyra Hotel.


Duties & Responsibilities
  • To liaise with all Heads of departments to deliver a 360 degree guests’ experience on their absence .
  • To supervise all the departments during the afternoon for their smooth operation.
  • To assist and work with all other hotel departments and heads of departments to ensure complete guest satisfaction at all times.
  • To perform daily  property inspections.
  • To have complete knowledge of the operational systems of all departments in order to be able to assist.
  • To actively obtain feedback from guests to improve services and facilities.
  • To ensure the team is fully able to perform its jobs to the highest standards and according to the Hotel’s specifications.
  • To ensure that the environmental initiatives are adhered to in the workplace and to participate in community activities and programs.
  • To understand the impact of guests services on the overall property financial goals and objectives.
  • Report direct to General Hotel Manager.


Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position at a 5* Hotel
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 
  • Computer Literate.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.  Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
  • Promotes cooperation & commitment within a team
  • Inspiring and motivating others while being caring and understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints
