Thanos Hotels & Resorts are seeking to recruit a Night Receptionist for Almyra Hotel.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • To assist and check-in guests as per existing Front Office policies and procedures.
  • Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
  • Ensures that all Guests receive a courteous and warmly service upon check-in and check-out.
  • Ensures that Guest data are correctly entered into the system.
  • Ensure that duties are carried in an honest and ethical way by abiding the Hotels’ rules and regulations and the Cyprus Law.
  • Produces and handover guest keys.
  • Notifies the porter for transferring guests’ luggage to their assigned rooms.
  • Notes down any special requests that guests may have and pass these onto the relevant department.
  • Handles Complaints with immediate action and through proper follow up.
  • Performs check out efficiently based on the Hotel’s procedures.
  • Ensures Housekeeping reports are accurate.
  • Offers wake up services, order taxi transfers when necessary.
  • Takes and passes on messages to guests.
  • Operates the telephone call centre.
  • Sending of any necessary hotel documentation
  • Handling of any outgoing mail
  • Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Front Office Manager.

 Requirements
  • At least 3 years’ experience in same or similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek & English Language
  • Knowledge of any other language will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and welcome personality
  • Passionate in delivering exceptional levels of guest service
  • To be able to work in a fast-paced environment and cope under pressure
