Job Role
  • Supports the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and maintaining high culinary standards.
  • Supervises staff, ensures food safety, and contributes to menu planning and execution.

 Duties & Responsibilities
  • Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.
  • Maintain the recipe library and plate specifications showed by the Executive Chef
  • Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.
  • Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
  • Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
  • Execute the Executive Chef’s recipes and techniques
  • Flexibility with guest and Executive Chef’s special requests
  • Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance.
  • Be familiar with all levels of the culinary team
  • Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
  • Achieve budgeted revenues and keep expenses within the given guidelines
  • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the Food & Beverage operation to guarantee the highest level of creativity and productivity within the organization
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar position 
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or hospitality related qualification, will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of English.  Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cope under pressure
