Job Role
Supports the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and maintaining high culinary standards.
Supervises staff, ensures food safety, and contributes to menu planning and execution.
Duties & Responsibilities
Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.
Maintain the recipe library and plate specifications showed by the Executive Chef
Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.
Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
Execute the Executive Chef’s recipes and techniques
Flexibility with guest and Executive Chef’s special requests
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance.
Be familiar with all levels of the culinary team
Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
Achieve budgeted revenues and keep expenses within the given guidelines
Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the Food & Beverage operation to guarantee the highest level of creativity and productivity within the organization
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar position
Degree in Culinary Arts or hospitality related qualification, will be considered as an advantage
Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cope under pressure
