Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Floor Supervisor for the Anassa Hotel.


Job Role
 

Responsible for the final condition of the guestrooms, working areas and other areas on the assigned floors, whilst ensuring their highest possible standard of cleaning and presentation
 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the smooth operation of the floor assigned
  • Responsible for the performance of staff under supervision (maids, housemen)
  • Supervises cleaning of the assigned floor and areas – including guestrooms, corridors, staircases, floor pantries ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are properly met
  • Monitors that staff use equipment with care
  • Inspects and completes inspection reports
  • Issues floor keys to maids
  • Reports all departments and other information such as “early make up” as soon as possible to room attendants
  • Supervises handling of soiled/dirty linen to laundry and requisitioning of fresh ones from Housekeeping
  • Walks around all entire assigned floor/floors, checking for items in need of immediate attention such as burned out bulbs spot carpets, walls and trash in stairways
  • Reports any damage to guestroom, corridors or equipment seen or reported by attendants
  • Checks all floor service areas and its supplies and equipment, to make sure that they are in working order
  • Reports to engineering, using a maintenance work order and any defect or equipment failure
  • Coordinates with room service for tray clearance
  • Prepares housekeeping status reports
  • Informs the front office about ready rooms
  • Adhere to Hotel’s standards, policies and procedures and to have a complete understanding of the policies; including Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety

 

   Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or hospitality related qualification, will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of English.  Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
  • Computer Literate
  • Promotes cooperation & commitment within a team
  • Strong organizational and analytic skills
  • Passionate for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
