Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Pool Cleaner for the Anassa Hotel.

Job Overview

The Pool Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the hotel’s swimming pool and surrounding areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
This role includes daily cleaning, monitoring water quality, maintaining pool equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards to provide guests with a pleasant and safe swimming experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and vacuum the pool daily, including brushing pool walls and floors.
Skim and remove debris from the surface of the water.
Test and balance water chemistry according to safety guidelines.
Monitor and maintain pool filtration systems, pumps, and heaters.
Clean and maintain poolside furniture and surrounding areas.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
Add chemicals safely and maintain accurate records of pool maintenance and chemical readings.
Ensure compliance with hotel standards and local health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar position at a 5* Hotel
Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
Basic knowledge of pool water chemistry and cleaning procedures.
Ability to operate and maintain pool equipment.
