Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Storekeeper for the Anassa Hotel.

Job Summary
  • The Storekeeper is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, control, and issuance of all hotel inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained accurately and that all materials are handled according to hotel standards.
  • The role supports smooth hotel operations by maintaining proper inventory records, safeguarding assets, and ensuring timely distribution of supplies to all departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
  • Ensure proper storage of all inventory items in accordance with hotel standards, safety regulations, and FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the inventory management system.
  • Issue materials and supplies to hotel departments against approved requisitions.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages, slow-moving, or obsolete items to management.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and assist with monthly and annual inventory audits.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of all storage areas.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of food, beverage, chemical, and operating supplies.
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or losses promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain all receiving, issuing, and inventory-related documentation and reports.
  • Comply with hotel policies, internal controls, health and safety standards, and quality procedures.
  • Support cost-control initiatives by minimizing waste and ensuring efficient inventory management.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of storekeeping procedures
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of English.  
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek.
  • Computer Literate
