Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Bar Manager for the Annabelle  Hotel.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly
  • Set objectives and targets for beverage unit/bars
  • Prepare staff schedules, taking into consideration the quality of the service and maintaining labour costs
  • Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resources
  • Identify training and development needs for staff
  • Promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working environment
  • Manage staff performance and conduct performance appraisals
  • Stay updated with the international F&B trends and make appropriate suggestions to the Hotel Manager 
  • Supervise the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards
  • Implement improvements for products and service
  • Comply with all Health & Safety rules and regulations
  • Manage and order supplies and beverages
  • Comply and communicate company policies, standards and procedures to staff and ensure that they are implemented
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Hotel Manager 

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position at a 5* Hotel
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or hospitality related qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of English.  Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
  • Computer Literate
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
  • Promotes cooperation & commitment within a team
  • Inspiring and motivating others while being caring and understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints
