Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Pool Attendant for the Annabelle Hotel.

Job Role
  • Performs guest safety and enforcing regulations at hotel pools as well as providing guests' comfort.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, setting -up and safety of all areas and facilities and attend to all guests needs within the hotel pool area as per the safety guidelines of the hotels management.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Observes and patrols pool and enforces safety regulations
  • Greet all guests upon arrival, distribute towels, offer assistance with seating, and delivering consistent guest service, exceeding guest expectations, and providing all other supporting services..
  • Knowledgeable of pool and hotel facilities and services to answer guest inquiries
  • Willing to take ownership of all guest requests and complaints, try to resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guests satisfaction
  • Ensure that a safe, hygienically fit working environment for employees and guests is maintained at all times and report any concerns or faults immediately
  • Be fully conversant with Life Guard Procedures
  • Knowledge of swimming pool equipment sufficient to be able to perform minor maintenance work on the equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of pool deck and facilities including straightening and stacking chairs, collecting soiled towels and trash, moving chairs, towels, replacing flags, and cleaning signs
  • Be polite and professional in any situation where the image of the hotel is represented
  • Knowledge of the Company, the Hotel and its environment
  • Be fully conversant with all Health and Safety rules and regulations as well as Fire and Emergency Procedures
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of the Cyprus Law and hotel rules and regulations policies

Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar position at a 5* Hotel
  • Excellent knowledge of English.  Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
  • Pleasant, honest and friendly personality
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
  • Computer Literate
  • To be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the food and beverage operation in order to guarantee the highest level of creativity and productivity within the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in handling guest complaints
