Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit Sous Chef for Annabelle Hotel in Paphos.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a five star hotel

  • Fine dining Mediterranean Cuisine knowledge

  • Ability to manage and motivate a multicultural team

  • Fluent English required Greek is considered as an advantage

  • To be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the Food and Beverage operation in order to guarantee the highest level of creativity and productivity within the organization
     

Responsibilities:

  • Guide, motivate, train and manage cooks A’, B’ and C’, trainees and stewarding staff in order to exceed guest expectations

  • Be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the Food & Beverage operation in order to guarantee the highest level of creativity and productivity within the organization

  • Ensure that the hotel maintains the best possible reputation for its culinary product in Cyprus and abroad

  • Ensure your knowledge and support is given at all time during working hours

  • Maintain the recipe library and plate specifications showed by the Executive Chef

  • Keep all equipment in good working condition

  • Be familiar with all levels of the culinary team

  • Daily compliance with the hygiene, sanitation, HACCP and other related local rules and regulations throughout the kitchen

  • Flexibility with guest and Executive Chef’s special requests

  • Follow strictly any dietary requirements

  • Execute the Executive Chef’s recipes and techniques

  • Supervise and co-ordinate daily operation of the Restaurant and service

  • To achieve budgeted revenues and keep expenses within the given guidelines
