Thanos Hotels & Resorts is currently seeking to recruit a Bar Supervisor for the Antasia Beach Club.

Job Role

Manage and coordinate all aspects of bar operations at Antasia, including planning and supervision
Provide direction, inspiration and guidance to his/her team members
To manage the bar service within the Antasia and ensure that customers are served promptly and courteously, in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and hygiene and safety regulations of Thanos Hotels
To supervise and lead the department, in order to meet the required standards and exceed all customer expectations

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee daily bar operation, ensuring efficient and smooth service at all times
Lead, train, and develop bar staff, including bartenders and service team members
Prepare and manage staff schedules in line with business demands
Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards
Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
Comply with all Health and Safety rules and regulations
Follow the Grooming Policy, maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and ensure that this is followed and adhered by all Staff
Ensure all operations are conducted ethically and in accordance with company policies and Cyprus law

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar position
Degree in Hospitality Management or hospitality related qualification, will be considered as an advantage
Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cope under pressure
Computer Literate
Commitment to learning & self-development
Promotes cooperation & commitment within a team
Inspiring and motivating others while being caring and understanding
Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints.

A diverse Asian-Mediterranean menu is available in the bar and restaurant, from light snacks to full dinners, alongside zero-waste craft cocktails and sunset views over Paphos castle.
