Job Overview

Thanos Hotels & Resorts, as part of its expansion, is looking to hire a Sales Manager.

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives. This role focuses on acquiring new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and maximizing revenue across rooms, meetings & events, food & beverage, and other hotel services, while upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate, leisure, MICE, and group business
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, travel agents, tour operators, and corporate partners
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and hotel presentations
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms in line with hotel policies
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
  • Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and long-term business partnerships

Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Greek is considered an asset
  • Strong network within corporate, travel, or MICE markets is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail
