About the Role
The Senior Sales Manager at Thanos Hotels & Resorts is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales pipelines, and nurturing long-term client relationships. The role focuses on expanding business opportunities, enhancing guest experiences, and supporting the commercial goals of Thanos Hotels & Resorts' luxury properties in Cyprus & Greece.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies in collaboration with the Sales Director, with a focus on luxury market segments, trade partners, and revenue growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, travel agents, tour operators, and corporate accounts to drive repeat business and loyalty.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, manage contracts, and oversee payment coordination with clients and partners, ensuring terms align with the brand's financial and luxury standards.
  • Represent Thanos Hotels & Resorts at international trade shows, luxury travel events, roadshows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Revenue teams on campaigns, promotions, seasonal offers, and digital initiatives, ensuring sales efforts are aligned with pricing strategies and revenue optimization goals across all properties.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring a highly personalized, seamless service experience consistent with Thanos Hotels & Resorts' Mediterranean lifestyle positioning.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, KPIs, and revenue forecasts to the Sales Director and senior leadership.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and guest preferences to proactively inform and refine sales approaches.
  • Support and mentor junior sales team members, sharing best practices and contributing to a high-performance sales culture.

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a senior sales role within the luxury hospitality or travel industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of the luxury travel market, including trade partner dynamics, guest expectations, and key source markets relevant to Thanos Hotels & Resorts
  • Established network within the luxury travel trade, including relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and corporate accounts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the brand at the highest level
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Greek or additional languages is considered a strong asset
  • Solid experience with sales reporting tools, with a data-driven approach to performance management
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally for trade shows, client meetings, and business development purposes
