hanos Hotels & Resorts is currently seeking to recruit a a strategic and experienced
Hotel General Manager for the
Palm Beach Resort.
Position Overview This executive role requires a results-oriented professional with a strong background in the five star/luxury segment hotel operations, particularly in Food & Beverage (F&B) management, team leadership, and financial oversight in the five star/luxury segment.
The successful candidate will report directly to senior leadership of Thanos Hotels & Resorts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership for all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring brand standards, operational excellence, and superior guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the resort’s positioning, business goals, and financial targets.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of departmental heads and team members.
- Direct and optimize the Food & Beverage function, including concept development, quality control, service delivery, and profitability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Oversee the preparation and execution of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to maximize revenue, market share, and brand exposure.
- Foster a performance-driven culture and continuous improvement across all operational teams.
Candidate Profile- Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel operations, including prior General Manager or Hotel Manager roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in F&B management, with a track record of innovation and profitability in high-end hospitality environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage complex operations, multitask effectively, and make data-driven decisions.
- Sound financial acumen and experience in managing large-scale budgets and cost controls.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Greek is considered an asset.
- Experience in pre-opening hotel projects will be considered an advantage.
